The Blood Meridian Flannel

A Blood Meridian plaid to remind you of a brutal novel by the modern genius, Cormac McCarthy. in collaboration with OneGrand books, we selected five of their books to create plaids for - books we love as well. Ta-Nehisi Coates’s selection Blood Meridian is a painful reminder of what America was like at the Texas-Mexico border in the 1850s and how we treated the Native Americans. Heavy stuff for plaid but we as a people clearly need to be reminded in order to learn from it. Also Chip Kidd did this gorgeous cover and he is another design hero of ours.

A mid-weight all season cotton twill. Individually cut and sewn, all JCRT shirts are made of 100% cotton and feature a locker loop at the center back neck, split yoke for comfortable ease of movement and side gussets for reinforcement. Single needle tailoring throughout with French seam for softer seams. Our crisp collars and cuffs are made using the highest grade German interfacings.
