LOUNGE PANT - The Hounds of Love Plaid in Oxford Cotton

A plaid inspired by Hounds of Love.

The first time I heard Running Up the Hill was likely on WLIR. This was the moment Kate Bush and Anne Sexton became my spiritual mothers. Though I may not agree on The Berenstein Bear Mandela Effect… I am completely on board with a new timeline where Kate Bush is top of the charts and for this I am eternally grateful. We designed a plaid for Hounds of Love at the very start of JCRT. Never feeling quite right though we tweaked it countless ties in an attempt to capture the soft purples and browns properly. This plaid is finally ready to release at a time when Kate Bush is thankfully and deservedly on the headphones of so many. 

Hounds is the cinematic soundtrack to a Terry Gilliam film that we all deserve. This is a record that deserves a full spin with a great pair of headphones and a good 45 minutes or so… add another 10 for potential tears. The song, Hounds of Love remains my all time favorite with Hello Earth and Morning Fog a close second( I love those as a pair), Under Ice is magic, And Dream of Sheep is gorgeously brilliant and it is all just so beautiful - so, thank you Kate your record got us through tough times and rough times and continues to be a safety blanket. 

Yes. Of course, Cloudbusting and Running Up That Hill are also perfection. The video Terry Gilliam/Julian Doyle made drove me nuts trying to figure out

who Reich was, what Organon was and his cloudbusting machines,

which I can only imagine were an inspiration for HAARP.
