A camouflage based on a book by one of our cinematic heroes, Derek Jarman. His video work for The Smiths still gives me chills and Caravaggio, Edward II and Jubilee are movies we revisit often as their beauty is still as inspiring as his gardening is! In collaboration with One Grand Books, we selected five of their books to create plaids for - books we love as well. Tilda Swinton’s selection Modern Nature by Derek Jarman is our favorite.

Our satchel bag is made from our signature soft but durable 240gsm Organic Twill composed of 98% cotton, 2% lycra. Its generous interior can hold bulky items and essentials.
Reinforced base and straps for carrying extra-heavy loads. Heavy gauge 2-way brass zipper.

So great! It’s soft to the touch, very well made and the zipper is great. No catching. My only drawback is the little pocket inside isn’t more structured, or stiff. It gaps and sometimes makes it tricky to put my phone or wallet in easily.
