A plaid inspired by People’s Instinctive Travels and the Paths of Rhythm, the 1990 debut album from A Tribe Called Quest. The warmth of analog jazz samples, the ease of Q-Tip’s delivery, the playful surrealism of Phife’s rhymes, it was hip-hop as a community project. Laid-back, brilliant and radical.
This plaid draws from the album’s color palette sun-baked reds, earthy yellows, greens, and black-vinyl shadows reflecting both the groundedness and optimism of that record.

Made of 97% Cotton and 3% Spandex.
Features a locker loop at the center back neck, split yoke for comfortable ease of movement and side gussets for reinforcement. Single needle tailoring throughout with French seam for softer seams. Our crisp collars and cuffs are made using the highest grade German interfacings.
