The A Clockwork Orange Flannel

A plaid inspired by A Clockwork Orange. This December marks Beethoven’s 250th birthday. dun-dun-dun-duuuuuuuuuuhhhnnn….

What better way to honor that than to relook at Clockwork Orange. Yes I read this burgess novel at 14 after sneaking the vhs into my bedroom. It introduced me to his very strange dystopian view on the world, flash forward to adulthood and well it explains a lot). Alex and his droogs became every teens antihero and the spokespeople for free will and the morality that at the time Bush Sr seemed to be spreading in order to get his way(history repeats people). A complex book and film that to this day I still can’t square my feelings on. Though I can’t help think of Alex and that eye contraption every time I sit in front of Netflix for another Sunday marathon. So turn on a bit of the old Ludwig van sit back and be take in the clock work plaid.  

A soft all season cotton cotton twill.
