Collection: Mixtape Collection

What began as a capsule of plaid shirts quickly grew into something larger an ode to the music that shaped Costello and Tagliapietra as designers. Enter The Plaid Mixtape: each one drawn from the albums that defined their teenage years and still echo through their lives today.

Every plaid is an interpretation of an album cover and its sound, translated into color, line, and rhythm, stroke weight as bass line, hue as lyric, pattern as chorus. The collection is both tribute and transformation: the records that once lived on their turntables now remixed in cloth.
